Dubai Blue

Player Valuation: £8m
This is a question I guess for the @GrandOldTeam staff, but is there any chance of an iPhone app? Am sure the costs would be quite high, but even if it was a GBP1.49 download, i'd still be interested.

Anything in the pipeline?

Even if you weren't browsing GOT, you'd get a notification of an alert.
It would drive me mad. Could have some fun with it by keep tagging @Bryan though.
Cheers Wooly.

I'd actually like this but only if everyone else was on board - unless of course it was something that could be switched on and off in your preferences?

Can't lie mate, I don't know how it would work. I just googled it and then strung a vaguely coherent sentence together, which is pretty much how I've been stealing a living for the last ten years too !

Well, if they ever wanted one, my mate owns APPosing and is a massive blue. Hed always be able to sort it out cheaply enough..

Thanks pal.

Mobile is very important to us, we've put considerable effort into making GOT optimised across mobile/devices in the last 12/18 months in particular.

That in mind, I'd happily pay for an App (they're nowhere near as expensive as they were 2 years ago...) and we could even have an app for free (charging users to download it). Dave at apposing has gave me a shout on this several times. Only last month did I say;

GOT app, I can't see what it would do? We have a responsive site with push notifications available, though all ears if I'm missing a trick?

So yeah, now the site is responsive (responds to any device), I can't see what an App could offer.

...Father Christmas brought me an I-Pad for Xmas, I appreciate there isn't a GOT App but is there a way of creating a shortcut or something for ease of navigation. Funny enough, when I go into my laptop I have a GOT logo on the toolbar, not sure how I did that but I presume I could do something similar.

I'd appreciate a step by step steer for an old simpleton like me?

Only problem I have (on Android) is that creating a bookmark opens the site in a new tab, irrespective of whether you already have GOT open on an existing tab.

So I tend to just leave a GOT tab open all the time and just click 'new posts' to refresh it.
