That was when Sinclair was my favourite player- I used to love watching him fly up and down the wing.

Me too, he was class at the time.

He went (in my mind) from QPR to nothing to emergency great player in the world cup for england to nothing again.

Thought id get this going again...ive been talking to my mate the past couple of nights about the best goal....heres all the goals that i have found that i think are simply outstanding...

All great eh? (also another GoD thread brought back...time to bring him back?)

Id say the best from the above are the top 3, seedorfs, Ibrahimovic's, and Vazquez's

Surely that has to be in there aswell, not a normal freekick, the technique in how he hits it is sensational

Seedorf's is awesome. It looks like like Vasquez got his foot stuck in the turf when he kicked it.

As far as team goals go Argentina vs. Serbia was great. I've always liked Camara's equaliser against Sweden in the 2002 WC but I can't find a clip of the passes that lead to the goal. It had like 6-7 perfect passes from one end of the pitch to the other and caused the Sweden coach to smile, stick his tongue out and pretend to wretch.

Seedorfs goal is amaxing, its lot like any other shot from that distance - the shot does not go high and dip, it travels directly into the goal...and he barely took a run up to get that power either!!

Vazquez did mean that goal btw, after the match he came on and re-did it for the press, you can find it on youtube (y)

Regarding team goals I don't think there are any better than that scored by Carlos Alberto for Brazil in the World Cup in 1970. Also from an Everton perspective, Graeme Sharp's volley at Anfield in the 80's.
