Pele has the advantage of longevity; however no one was better than Maradona in his prime.
 
Not the greatest player of all time by a long shot but for some reason, everytime I saw Roberto Donadoni play, he was lights out. Everytime.

Maybe I need to get out more. :P
 
If we're talking the best we've seen in the flesh it's either Hoddle or Gascoine for me. And at the risk of being banned, Kenny Dalglish was a bit good aswell, the ****.
