not that im trying to detract anyone from supporting everton but what is the appeal to support a team 1000's of miles away over say a local MLS team?

if you want to watch some baseball, are you going to walk to Bootle and watch the Liverpool Trojans (maybe you should!) or will you stay up late and watch a Cubs-Cards, Dodgers-Giants, or Yankees-Red Sox matchup?

Most Yanks here are also MLS fans, insomuch as they can be, but Murica is large and it's actually much harder to watch MLS on TV than PL, and not much easier for most to attend the games

The nearest MLS is hours away, but also the set up for cups, and leagues is so much different than any American sport. I find it intriguing.

That's at least one thing Montgomery has going for it, only 2.5 hrs to ATL. I've only made 2 games this year for various reason, but they are a damn fun team to watch, and the stadium is simply:dance::celebrate:
