Yeah I do stretcher bearing for the Nix when they are short on numbers - even managed to get on the news a few weeks ago when they showed us carrying Paul Iffil off!!

Usually a great atmosphere at the Westpac if enough people turn up too - they love their footy in this town!

Haha nice work, are you sauced up? Know if Smeltz is going to resign for the Phoenix next year?

I've been told he's not mate but the people I know there aren't really "in the know" I dont think! If I hear from someone reliable I'll let you know :-)

I know one of the brazilian guys isn't getting a new contract because of his attitude (he swans around Welly with an entourage like he's a rapper or something!)

Clearly the lad thinks he's from Samoa.

I fancied goin' up to near Nelson when we were there, Motueka in the Chicken Factory (was it Tally's) but everyone said to us that it's all good but if the job goes then you end up havin' to move back to Christchurch again. It was very nice up there though, as it was at the start of the Abel Tasman National Park. Went to a 'clothing optional' campsite near there at Mapua (the disappointment of it is still fresh in my mind, although there was a Tennis Match).

Ha ha awesome - not explored the South Island properly yet - going to the Blenhiem Wine and Beer festival in March tho - so a week of being drunk is on the cards.

Thanks mate - funnily enough it was your sunday sermon on David Moyes that introduced me to this forum - awesome read :-)

Hokatika for the wild foods is a good laugh as well, explore the wild west !!

and eat allsorts of shiz, got served a wild boar barm by Jenny Shipley(whilst pm), she asked how it tasted and my reply was "better than your policies" I made my exit quite sharpish.

Ha ha awesome mate - yeah have tried Boar, wanna et my gun license this year so can do a bit of pig huntin' meself - turned in to a right redneck since living out here!

A kiwi wool is like the missing link, with his mutton birds and his Moa butties, the mullet was invented by them but isn't known as a mullet, it's just called a 'haircut' cos it's what they all have.

Ha ha are you sure you didn't live in Lower Hutt? It should be called "Lower Mullet". I might grow one meself, just to blend in with the natives. Incognito and all that.

don't forget to cut the sleeves off all your shirts, get a rugby shirt made from many different offcuts (that may be a C/ch thing due to the Canterbury factory), and be constantly looking for a 'foil.'
