I agree with you. It was an excellent performance and the young players - who I said Germany needed to be inspired to win this tournament - were superb. However, all of this has to be weighed against the level of the opposition. I would love Germany to win this, but they learned little tonight. Nevertheless, they will be able to settle into the tournament now and the fans here will get behind them. That makes them very dangerous. But they have a lot of convincing to do after the last three major tournaments.
