Group A: Germany, Scotland, Hungary, Switzerland

I don't think you should be calling their approach craven when Clarke set up to play for a draw from the start and there were no shots on goal for 98 minutes.

Hungary should've had a few had it not been for poor finishing and even went as far as hitting the post, well before Scotland registered a shot on target, mind.

Both teams were woeful, but Scotland tried to take the game to Hungary.

Hungary played like they only needed a point to go through.

Mate?

I'm trying very hard to be on your side here, but no shots and no plan to have shots on goal for 90 minutes is absolutely diabolical for a game of this stature.

Scotland played like they didn't even want to play, let alone like needing the result.

I've said Scotland were abysmal, but they had most of the possession. how did that happen if Hungary took the game to Scotland?

By actually trying to play on the counter and trying to score?

Having the most passes between your two CBs for a full game is proper Roberto Martinez crab football - loads of the ball and no idea what to do with it and no directness.
