I can tell which of you have played football and which haven't by your view of that not given pen.
If you have not had some snide running into you and claiming a foul have you ever even truely played football?

As an ..."industrial" defender, it used to do my head in!

I mean he goes at force into the back of him, certainly more than enough contact for the guy to lose his balance ?‍♂️
Contact is not a foul.

If a player puposely moves his body and his whole trajectory to instigate contact it's not a foul. The defender literally has nowhere to go when he does that, the only way contact is not made is if the defender can magically teleport.

Which I assume he can't. I dunno, he may be able to, not seen enough of Senegal...

I'd have fumed if someone tried that against me.
Yeah I would have got sent off for the reaction to the foul being given.

It's crap how much football has changed really. It's all so cynical. I cant get my head around a bloke playing in what will be his only world cup not taking a shot and going for glory. Imagine of Josimar for example went looking for contact in 86 instead of belting the ball into the back of the net.

He wasn’t about to pull the trigger. He was more interested in getting bummed by the defender so he could win a pen.

His movement was blatantly weird and the ref saw straight through it.
Yep, it's the same thing Gerrard used to do quite often, suddenly move in front of the defender and slow down slightly and his momentum causes him to bundle you over.

The ref was completely correct
