….it was getting to a point where I thought Senegal needed to score for England to throw off the shackles, then they get one on the break and play with freedom.

I’m not a big fan of the kids who export to Germany but I’ve liked Bellingham since I first saw him, he looks right & has been terrific here. Hope he’s City bound, he’ll be great for them.

Personally I thought Harry Kane was fantastic for england tonight … best game I’ve seen him play dropping deep and linking the play with runners either side of him. Very mature performance from him.

Had a near miss on the Paddy Power £5 free build your bet on England last night. After my success in the Iran BYB that I posted here last week was in the mood to repeat the dose against the Senegalese.

Over 2.5 goals, under 2.5 cards, England -1 on the handicap, and to make the 4 timer @20/1 needed both teams to score. Drat. I'm blaming Pickford for that lol

You must really hate the World Cup as an internationalist Dave. All these awful bigoted people supporting their countries of birth and cheering them on to beat other nations.
Imagine an international tournament when all countries come together in a single place to play a game that unites large swathes of the earth.
Can see how an internationalist would say “sorry mate, I only support my local team”

He would say most of those countries shouldn't be invited and perhaps that the richest ones should have their own competiton.
