He can be greedy but tbh think you need a touch of that as a striker. Don't think it helps to reduce his greediness in free play that he is given the set peices though - he is one of our better players at converting in the box so deliberately placing him anywhere but there seems crazy!

i would have accepted it if it was just the ref's decision because he may have been unsighted, but how you miss that from under your nose is extraordinary. ah well, won't catch me moaning, great deserved win against a very tidy outfit. All with bale being pretty annonymous, may be back to his preferred position vs england .... against kyle walker, maybe the only right back in the tournament who can match his pace.

totally agree you need to have a greedy streak I just think sometimes he isn't aware of what's around him and has too much tunnel vision. Taking the free kicks and corners is bloody ridiculous though, you would think Rooney would be better taking them
 

Russia has got a pretty good strategy. High press the back line and sit 9-10 back. The back line hasn't made a mistake yet, but they probably will.

yep that would be a good battle that. Thought Bale done well though, kept that back line worried and occupied without ever having much to feed off. Plus defensively he's great at heading.
