I fancied Russia to cause England problems, but with both centre mids out they're probably going to struggle now. Dzagoev always looks quality whenever I see him play.

I agree, but only alongside a ball player. With either of those two he'll likely be chasing shadows, and he seems to get very rash when playing that game.

I re-read your post and see what you meant now. Dier plus one of the other woefuls ain't all that.

I've worked it out that if things go well Italy knock us out in the quarters. Again.

If things go as I expect we don't even get out the group.

I see Wales as the hardest of the 3 group games even though we've beaten them in 5 of the last 6 meetings. They will be well up for it being in their first tournament since the late 50's so will come out all guns blazing. Still expect the win though but either way I'm going to enjoy the afternoon watching it with my mates from work in town
