Messi in his twilght years is a sad sight to see.

He has 3 goals in the first half 5/6 years ago. He looks clueless in front of goal now.

If Argentina draw and Mexico win:
- Poland win the group with five points, Argentina and Mexico both have four points; and
-- If Mexico win by one or two goals, Argentina finish second on group goal difference with Mexico third.
-- If Mexico win by three goals it will be decided by group goals scored; if records are identical, Argentina finish second on head to head.
-- If Mexico win by four goals, Mexico are second on group goal difference and Argentina third.

I think this tournament is a tipping point. It makes no sense to play it in Qatar, but the "rules" and VAR decisions make even less sense and I've been watching the game for over 40 years. VAR is actually opening FIFA up to more - not fewer - allegations of corruption. It's a tool being used badly and for all the wrong reasons.
