The Arnold obsession by Southgate is weird. England really needs two defensive midfielders against relatively poor teams?

If they again stink the place out in the next game with the same XI yet qualify, he's just gonna continue against the genuinely good teams in the knock out stages despite the team having looked awful in 3/3 games?

Southgate simply has to make 2 or 3 changes from the start in the final game, regardless of today's result.

The reason TAA is playing midfield is because he is effective at Liverpool. The difference is that he was playing in a system/team he is familiar with and, let's be honest, for a manager who is a lot better than Southgate.
