When he left us it seems like overnight he packed on loads of muscle and tried to reinvent himself as a Drogba-type target man for some reason, but that was never his game. He was a poacher with pace who ran off the shoulder of the last defender, he just happened to be tall. Don’t know whose idea it was to change his game, but I suspect it was Mourinho’s. He’s never been the same player since, his best attributes were stripped away.
He was sort of like Haaland is now, obviously not as good, but that kind of style where he's tall and big but his game isn't smashing into people.

You have failed my test D, the test was to coherently explain if the FIFA world rankings matter.
Of course they matter.

Beyond winning the two trophies of note available to a European team Belgium have proven they are consistently a force in world football. It's a continual measurement and to be top for most of the 6 years RM was manager is amazing.

So England had the toughest group at the World Cup then?

Another bottle job from Lukaku.

He was to blame. Again.

When he left Everton, a lot of us said “Great striker, but not up to the big occasion.”

Remember my United mate saying “Yeah, but with a better team around him.”

He’s had some world class players around him at United, certainly for Belgium, and still fluffed gilt-edged chances.

Ironically, in response to you of all people, he can’t be solely blamed for Belgium’s exit. But he didn’t help.

Ah so the rankings actually DON’T matter? This is some impressive shape shifting even for you.

Morocco are 22nd and battered Belgium.
That's not what I said. The rankings reflect the class of the top teams to be pretty much almost in the top ten. That's because it used a method that rewards beating high ranked teams.
