So much crap in this team.

Look at it on the bright side - most of the other big fish, so far, have been crap.

Portugal and Spain can score but they can't defend. Argentina, Brazil and Germany all looked like rubbish. France got lucky. Belgium looked great but it was against Panama, which is like Saudi Arabia making Russia look like world beaters.

After the first round of group stage fixtures, it looks like practically anyone (with the possible exception of the hosts) that gets to the round of 16 can feel like they have a legitimate shot at this thing.
