Guardiola to be found out in the premier league

Seems the PL case of FFP regarding Man City has no statute of limitations that got them off on a technicality at CAS trial, one judge has already said City have delayed this at all cost and won 2 titles since proceedings started and clarified that it will make no difference because there is no Statute of limitations.

City again trying to delay by witholding evidence and it was a waste of time haha.:D

And now this, should be some fascinating evidence coming out, what i found odd was Tebas the outspoken La Liga boss a few weeks ago said something in regard that football will get justice against City soon.

Kopite.
Obsessed with City like all kopites are.
100%.

You don't half love talking about City and FFP @HongKongToffee

This looks interesting, Pinto sadly couldn't be at the CAS hearing, as City had delayed the process so much, now we know why they delayed it and went for the "Statute of limitations" tactics, last couple of paragraphs talk about the delaying process of City's lawyers.

When Man City won their appeal at CAS last summer to have their 2-year CL ban overturned, like most people I thought that would be the end of their FFP tribulations.

A shortish thread.

But earlier this year we learned the Premier League and MCFC had been in a legal battle lasting more than 2 years, with the PL demanding all kinds of documents and info, and MCFC refusing to comply, taking all sorts of legal action to prevent disclosure.

Legal "gags" prevented us, back in April, from reporting MCFC & PL had been in a 2-yr legal fight. But the MOS eventually got a judge to rule that in the interests of "open justice", ie transparency, we could attend court & hear details, if not report.

On Tuesday of last week, finally, three of Britain's most senior judges ruled that MCFC's secret legal battle with the PL over alleged breaches of Premier League rules could be made public. We (the MOS) had been present in court to witness this unfold.

My colleague Dan Matthews (@_DanMatthews_) was the reporter in court, who can now legally share that experience.

City are, in the main, a top football team right now. Some wonderful players and a top manager. However, there is a planet-sized asterisk against their achievements. They’re seriously bad news.
No doubt, shameless how City have blocked the British free press from reporting this in the UK, a free press which isn't in the UAE, thankfully these 3 judges saw common sense and now we will find out everything, the Daily Mail article above is damning, showing their lawyers delaying and concealing giving documents and evidence, the same exact thing in the CAS trial, thankfully a judgement will be passed on this and they will be a verdict as there is no time barred statute of limitations that got them off on a technicality.

Not looking good for city, since 2010 they have somehow earned £ 600 million more in commercial revenues than Chelsea RS and Arsenal.

And in 2013 the Etihad deal City told Uefa was £ 40 million a year was paying City £99 million a year, only £ 8 million was coming from Etihad with the rest wired from the UAE which shows State ownership, showing blatant systematic state intervention helping a football conceal cheat and connive their way around FFP.

Basically city got around FFP and breaking it by overpaying owner linked commercial deals, dodgy accounting and deceit to Uefa auditors, we also know about them deceitfully paying players image rights to a British virgin islands vehicle to keep the wages to turnover to FFP allowed levels and I'm sure HMRC will be watching this trial closely, with them missing out on those taxes.

Best thing about the failed CAS trial is Uefa have gone back to the drawing board to tighten up FFP and stop the likes of City and PSG making a mockery of it.

Very good assessment. I know the cynical view is that this will be quickly forgotten, but the lengths the PL lawyers have gone to in order to get the judges to force City’s hand suggests this isn’t just an interesting story.

All about the PL brand, City have and are tainting it, this is going to snowball now the press are finally allowed to report on the case now. City amazingly during a pandemic are going to spend £250 million on Grealish and Kane, with the massive losses they made the last 18 months they are somehow going to find that money somewhere.

Simon Pearce will send another email to the Abu Dhabi investment fund to pay for those sports washing purchases , and then Etihad who have made the most losses of an airline the last 6 years to the total of over £ 7 billion will increase Etihad sponsorship from £135 million a year to £200 million a year, while it will be the Abu Dhabi investment fund who will cover 90% of the new Etihad deal, with Etihad paying only £ 20 million a year.

A state once again funding a football club to hide their image of their heinous human rights abusing, no free press, oppressive slavery practices, no wonder the PL are blocking Saudi Arabia from doing the same thing to damage and tarnish the PL more.

Jeez why is this thread still going. I'm sure its just there to make me look stupid
Scroll up a bit and see today's mail on Sunday article they were the only paper allowed into proceedings, but were banned by the free press hating city lawyers, now the press ban is over the mail on Sunday have an article showing how City have tried delaying and concealing evidence and the state intervention helping them evade ffp sanctions, inflating turnover illegally with state funds being wired to city bank accounts under the pretence of commercial payments and making a mockery of football governance.

Everything they have won is one big massive asterisk.

I heard from a reliable source that Mbappe to City is a done deal

Shame they spend more time and energy going after a club who's owner wants to invest in his club and city, than looking into the likes of Wigans owners, the Glazers saddling utd with hundreds of million of pounds worth of debt and the Kronkes etc

Strange post indeed, almost of a subservience to what it's like in the void of human rights country of the UAE.

I'm sure you'll be happy once City pass nine league titles bumping Everton down a notch on the league winners honours list, but yeah all because their owners invest in a football club and City not your own in a sports washing manner, you'll defend them even though they manipulate football governance, will you be happy when they buy English hero Harry Kane by way of a state wired money to their bank accounts to plunder more trophies, and blocking Everton getting a chance of CL football or a Carabao cup?

Question, if Abu Dhabi hadn't bought Man City, do you think CL football would have been at Goodison with maybe 1 or two domestic cups as well in the trophy cabinet, maybe even a title challenge?

Baffles the mind how blues on here defend that sports washing club who wily nily arrogantly do not care about football governance, fair play and think they can brush it all under the carpet because they can get the best lawyers and use dirty tactics to get away with it by a technicality and then claim they were found innocent of all charges.
