Guardiola to be found out in the premier league

Greatest team in their history, playing the best football in their history and they still can’t sell out home games, what an appalling fanbase.
Basically it was better with Shaun Goater up front and Willo Flood running the midfield.

Not even joking as I know a few City fans and none of them are as passionate about the club as they used to be. Going to Old Trafford and shitting all over Utd like they did on Sunday - yes, they'll take that 7 days a week. But that aside, their club being a geocapitalist bargaining chip takes a lot of the fun out of things. Be careful what you wish for.....

Your comment made me laugh. I have family who emigrated to Christchurch, New Zealand and I see them every 3-4 years. This season I got seats together for Watford and then City got a home tie in the Cup so it's worked out. First time in ages that I've managed to get tickets and that was because of the luck of the Cup and City getting a London club in midweek over Christmas.

The problem with City's fan-base is that within a decade they will become what they hated: Man Utd.

Tbh I do worry (only slightly) about new fans coming in and having a misplaced sense of arrogance. The travails of City's history should be embraced by anyone who truly gives a [Poor language removed]. The day that City have an officially sanctioned banner in the ground mocking other clubs for their lack of trophies (a la United) is the day I would be protesting most vociferously. Success in football is something any club should celebrate but using it as a reason to look down on or [Poor language removed] on other clubs is not what the game is about for me.
