As soon as Guardiola and Aguero Silva go they could easily drop back into the top 4. Hopefully he sticks around long enough just to see off Klopp though so they can get another Hodgson or Rodgers.

I don’t get this attitude. What about us? You want us to compete in the future and yet you want to turn the League into a procession for Citeh? Surely you don’t want it to be like the French League and us just making up the numbers? Tells us a lot about the type of ‘fan’ you are. Anyway, Spurs, maybe Chelsea, Utd, when they rid themselves of Jose will all be challenging for top 4, it’s not just between the RS and Citeh.

You missed out the bit where I said ‘until Klopp leaves’. Klopp will leave in a couple of seasons. I can’t see us challenging in the next few seasons sadly. I don’t care which of the other big teams win it in that period as long as it’s not Liverpool.
You can’t see us challenging, fair enough....but you posted this elsewhere on the forum. You’re very optimistic in this post. Nothing is impossible you say. Yet you want City to have a procession each season........... It would be impossible then.

We did it under Moyes, Leicester went the whole way. Nothing is impossible when you get on a good run and keep winning. Are we better quality wise than the 13 other teams in this league? I’d like to think so. Are we capable of beating the top 6 at home? We have done regularly in the past. What is to stop us then from being very consistent against the bottom 13, picking up some wins against the top 6 and coming out with a competitive points total that might ruffle some of the teams at that bottom group of 6? Nothing in my view.

Yeah I’ve said there that if we play well we could trouble the top 6, that’s different to challenging for the title. If we can’t win it (which is looking unlikely currently as sad as that is to say) then it’s anyone but Liverpool.
Nothing is impossible you said. Why can’t we ‘do a Leicester’? As football fans we can still have big dreams, against all the odds yes, but we can still dream. I’m not gonna hope that another team dominates to the point of it being a procession for a few season because it might, ultimately harm us. I’d prefer my hopes to rest in the RS failing and Utd, Spurs, Chelsea and City all taking points off one another, rather than hope another team win it st a canter because it stops THEM winning it. In fact, I’d bet by balls that they won’t, their squad isn’t strong enough. We may as well all pack in now if thats all we have to hope for.
The London clubs or United winning the league wouldn’t bother me in the least.......bring it on.
But yes.....in fact hell, yes.....I would rather City turned it into a procession every year from now until doomsdsy if the alternative was the RS becoming champions.

They already have, dont get me wrong im made up Liverpool wont win it any time soon but it rather boring wathcing City at times, take that 6 1 over Huddersfield, once it becomes a question of how many not who is going to win its just awful, its entertainment for people not into football. Going from a yo yo club to a money club.
Besides its bad for the Premier League, no run in going to the last day of the season, also im sure im not the only one who would rather watch a good Championship game with Leeds or Forest now then a predictable city game
