That was the argument for Bolasie as well. "He puts in a cross, it's not HIS fault others cant convert them!"

Wasn't great today imo, his inability to control the ball or read an incoming pass can be infuriating, but that's football. Would like to see Bernard in there at no. 10 tbh.

I mean, it was. I'm not saying Bolasie is on par, but the whole "if OTHERS did X" just covers up that he was pretty average today.

Lots are guilty of it and fester on him and his transfer fee. The knives are out for him (and DCL an Davies) before a ball is kicked. As a fan base we're too dramatic.

Tbh the best through balls I've seen from Everton in the last tear or two have always come from Davies. Including today

I like Gylfi as a player but I have to say that I forgot he was playing in the second half today.
Irrespective of his fee, he goes missing far too often when it really matters.

This applies to so many of our players. When you need them to influence the game the most they are nowhere to be seen.
