He hit a Worldy from the half way line on his debut and so far has our goal of the season for his fantastic individual effort at Leicester, but can’t recall any free kicks off the top of my head.

Not his best game expected davies to come on much earlier when they changed their midfield two side foot attempts which could have been goals by the SIg - he looks slow to me.....

IMO he is our best player and suits the young team around him well. Needs to become more of a leader though.

Has averaged an assist every 7 games since he's been here, luckily he scores a few to hide that. To put it in comparison eriksen avergaes an assist every 3 games and even Jon joe shelvey averages more assists at the barcodes over the years

Kind of helps that you can get an assist by tapping the ball to Kane who jinks past a couple defender before slotting it in the bottom corner from 35 yards out and Siggy has provided our players with several dozen one on ones that they have consistently fluffed.

Most surprising thing so far about Gylfi has been his inability to score a free kick for us...and his penalty hoodoo

Hard to say anyone yesterday was anonymous. His finishing was lacking but he contributed on the field with the press and pressure in the midfield

Don't think he was anonymous. He pressed really well and has done so the last few matches which has contributed to our turn of form. Also, on a different day he would have put that Richarlison pass in the back of the net.

He started this season really well, he then went off the boil for a period, and then picked up again, he's worked hard, and covers a load of ground.

But your point is that it works out at £22.5m a season, when in all reality his performances last season weren't even worth close to a £22.5m player.

Last season means nothing now, just look at Keane, he was also poor last season but has also been great this season, forget last season, it means nothing moving forward, its in the past and done with.

No, and he’s struggled with penalties too.

Digne needs to take over those duties full time ASAP, save for obvious right foot territory.

Gylfis set piece deliveries have been good though.

It's a really tough one. I'm tempted to agree with you but also cautious that we'd really miss him if we went with a more "flair", less "work rate" player.
Take Vlasic for example, I'd like to think he could flourish in that role but would he help DCL/Richarlison/Bernard in that press?
I'd hope Silva could coach that into him but as I say I worry we'd only really appreciate Sigurdsson once he's gone. Hopefully we can blood Vlasic into the role in rotation with Siggy?
