Even when he was playing "badly" last season it was still glaringly obvious that he was our best player.

I just couldn't understand the abuse. Anyone who had watched more than one game of football coukdve seen the talent he had.

Awesome player, best attacking mid I have seen play for us, judging from this season alone.
Really enjoy watching him, can't believe we had to experience last season.

Was critical of him last season and early on this season but Silva's system suits Sigurdsson down to the ground and makes him a much more effective player.

Be interesting to see whether he continues to lead the press high up with Richarlison against Chelsea or drops back a little to compensate for Chelsea's strength in midfield.

As good as Gylfi's was that Arsenal goal was a truly special team goal. For me that's the goal of the season so far and will take some beating. It's absolutely perfect football from the goal keeper to the back of the net.
