Look, that goal should have stood, no question about it.

De Gea is a giant of a man and had a clear view of what was going in.

However, what the heck was Iceland doing just sat there when the ball was still live and he knew.....we know for certain he knew because he had the presence of mind to pull his feet away...that he was offside?
 
It was a harsh decision but he had a duty to get off his arse and clear the area considering we were still on the attack after he missed that sitter instead of just looking on.

De Gea was never getting anywhere near it so he's cost us today.

just blast the effin ball and degea has no chance. Truly awful player. Drop him and let Bernard have a floating no10 role. slugertson brings zilch to our play.
 

Think it’s a bit harsh to blame him for being on the floor. He sprinted into the penalty area and flipped over due to the tackle/speed he was moving. It was then only 2 seconds until the ball left DCLs foot... and the first second he turned to see who was behind him.
 
Dont blame him for the poor VAR decision at the end, he had been taken out, by the time he can react its too late. However, thought he was poor today, need more dynamism out wide.
