I remember watching him at Swansea. He was very very good and influential not just on free kicks.
what changed? The wages, confidence, love of the game?

He shouldn't play for the club again.

After sitting on the floor for over 4 seconds last weekend, neither holding his foot as if injured or attempting to get back to his feet. He gave the ref a get out to cost us 2 valuable points.

As a captain he led by example today. Hiding and strolling about. As he has done for the majority of the season.

I have seen enough now. Get out.

He is Phil Neville v Wigan in that Quarter final.

I wouldn't even say he is Neville. At least Neville knew after that game he was done and never played for us again, what are the odds Sigurdsson is gonna trot out and put in a performance like this in the derby next week

I could understand that if he started central midfield, but he didn't he started out wide and we could have played Iwobi, Gordon, Kean or Walcott instead.

He moved into the centre after Tom Davies went off but in my opinion made our midfield even worse.

A seemingly impossible task but he succeeded!!

You must have watched MOTD a lot then. He was never an influential player. Someone who´d get important goals and deliver good set pieces but over the course of 90 minutes he was never your main man.

He never plays out wide really. Certainly not as a wide player/winger.

Iwobi is just as bad, Kean isnt there yet, nor is Gordon and Walcott I assume had a knock or something.

I far from love the bloke but there are reasons why he is in the side right now, I would assume (hope!) it's not some failed masterplan by Ancelotti and he is purely there due to limited options.
