We will have to wait and see if this game was a once off where CA picked a team to do a specific job and Sigurdsson lost out because he wouldn't have the pace for the task in hand.... or, is it the manager giving a clear hint to the player that he is no longer a certain starter... this would almost definitely mean Sigurdsson considering his future at the club.
I would guess that if we sell him without him asking for a transfer it will turn out very expensive for us because of loyalty bonuses etc.

I don't think he'd be too difficult to shift, based on the fact that he'd still be a somewhat high-profile signing for a lot of mid / lower-end of the table clubs.
Everton are probably going to end up covering some of his wages, though, unless he ends up somewhere like Turkey.
