Price tag and wages dictate he's used.

It shouldn't be a consideration but it is.

That and we have no one else in the role due to a lack of squad depth. When a club like ours blows £50m on one position we aren't going to be replacing that any time soon.

It's genuinely one of our worst ever transfers. A millstone around our neck.

...that’s a very fair comment. I always thought he was a good pro but it’s almost like he either wants a move or doesn’t mind being on the bench. The game doesn’t seem important to him anymore.
