His role was definitely different tonight and I think he got on the ball more as a result. The problem is he still didn't do very much with it.

I didnt remember him touching the ball to be honest. Just that frustrated shot/pass thing he did. Completely and utterly anonymous.

This is true.

Look at the effort Iwobi was putting in during his cameo compared to Sigurdsons 45 minutes. It’s disgusting really. It’s like he can’t even be arsed trying. Drop him.

He didn't though. He played almost as a right attacking mid with Bernard filling in as a left attacking mid when we had the ball. He wasn't playing up next to DCL nearly as much as far as I could tell.

He didn't though. He played almost as a right attacking mid with Bernard filling in as a left attacking mid when we had the ball. He wasn't playing up next to DCL nearly as much as far as I could tell.

I just checked and he actually had a similar number of touches as the Watford game so not great still but an improvement as he went 90 at Watford vs 60 tonight. The level of impact was unchanged.

Needs to be taken out of the side now, get a proper 433 settled formation and work from there, siggy is and always has been a hinderence.

Honestly other than his set pieces did he contribute anything today other than trying to score from about 65 yards with a pitching wedge for a foot.

I don't get it with him, always liked him till he joined us and everything i thought he was, he isn't.

Some of that's him, some of it's this nonsense second striker role Silva is giving him but he's just incredibly disappointing.

I literally could not care for stats at all for this game. A touch could of been the ball deflecting off one of his testicles for a throw in. This was the least involved I've ever seen him with my own eyes tonight.
