Deulofeu never played and left mid-season and Barry was a fossil who couldn't move and left to get relegated.

Barkley - Yes but wouldnt have played anyway due to injury.
Lukaku - Yes but he wanted to leave since the day he joined.

Yes I agree. But we also need someone who can pass the ball properly like Barry too. Energy is all well and good. Our biggest problem is all our midfielders are utterly appalling at playing the ball forward.

We miss Barry from Martinez forst season, not the one who left. I have tons of repect for Barry, but he was just too slow to deal with teams breaking on us.

We need someone that can do both. Rooney has been badly exposed due to his lack of legs at times this season, Schneiderlin just can't be bothered. We need someone with the stamina and enthusiasm of Gana but with the passing ability of Barry 3-5 years ago.

Don't really care about energy in midfield when we have Gana. If you fail to see what Barry provides to a team then you need to watch more football.

When Sigurdsson is fit he's a guaranteed starter, why would anyone want to sell?
