He’s not been outstanding like but his team lets him down for me, quality ball after quality ball into the box and nothing on the end of them.

Honestly mate he must be a complete blind spot for me. It's a bit like when the BBC were saying Henderson played well the other night, I was thinking, no he didn't, he does his weird poo-in-pants-while-flexing shuffle that he does to pass it back to defenders or smack it aimlessly long.

Siggurdson didn't do a great deal vs a clearly abysmal Argentina. When two truly great midfielders - Rakitic and Modric - played against them, they annihilated them. Sure, Modric is an unfair comparison, but at £45m you'd expect a top class midfielder who dominates and influences the game.

He was only 45m because prices stupidly inflated again last season and we were spending money like a pirate on shore leave.

Absolutely. They are the complete opposite players. One holds it forever, keeps it really well, is athletic, and occassionally produces something decent. The other never holds it long, moves the ball amazingly well, moves off the ball well, and creates a TON with minimal touches. For some reason, people cannot get comfortable with different types of players.

No but there equally clueless, he ran the game against Argentina, is playing well here again at the World Cup, but was poor in an awful Koeman and Sam side, when your eyes and the stats show Siggy is a good player, to persist that he isnt because of the price tag is just daft
