The dumb f**ks over at RAWK say there's nothing to worry about.. 'we can trust David Conn' etc.

Broughton didn't make it a pre-condition for the sale as it's 'not enforcible' etc. (it wasn't mentioned but Henry did the smart sound bite thing..)

This could be the start of a beautiful relationship - yeah maybe some improvement on the field (eventually) but at what cost?

Interest payments on the £100M plus to build a half-decent team (less Torres and an over-priced Gerrard) - let's face it to buy a team slightly better than our side (5th-6th-7th is hardly the limit of their ambitions is it?) is going to cost £150M from where they are right now - and with Citteh hoovering up all the half-decent players there's no one left ready for the PL worth having. Then you budget in the new stadium (let's say £400M - OK £300M with some help from grants etc.) and then you realise that this is coming from debt (interest loaded on the club.) and increased ticket prices. If you stick a fiver on each ticket then that's only around £8M a season ... which won't get you very far. Champions League income another £30-40M (not available until 2012) .. and Bob's Your Uncle - back to chasing the dream at a price they won't like...

Great News.

But subsequently they did pay the multi-million pound interest costs out of the club's earnings.

Hence, Henry made the club pay...it gets better
