My receding hairline is proper gash. It's sort of like a W shape at the front. Also getting a bald patch on my crown. But I haven't reached full acceptance yet and I guess that means I'm sort of at combover stage. But I prefer to think of it as having a hair do that complements the bald areas.

Whats the general feeling around bald women? I'm a fan of Demi Moore in GI Jane whatever it is but the current version of Sinead O'Connor looks like she'd wreck you house and your life (Obviously the old version would just stand there wearing a black polar neck crying at you). Baldy Britney was a rampaging lunatic as well. Skin out of Skunk Anansie is the sex. It's an absolute minefield.

Here’s a trick for you youngsters....

I used to have really long flowing locks right up to my early thirties when one day I decided to shave it all off (number 1 all over). I’m 45 now and haven’t even attempted to grow it back for the past 10-12 years so I never really noticed going thin or bald as I just whiz over it once a fortnight. I do have a larger bald patch these days though which I’m not arsed about.

Shaved it off and wouldn't grow it back even if I didn't have a big bald spot. Prefer it this way.

Was dating a woman and when I told her I was thinking of shaving my head she volunteered to come help. After the first pass with the clippers she began to cry thinking I'd hate it and be mad at her.

Many, many moons later the now Mrs. BlueTX is more than happy to let me know when I "look like a Chia Pet" and need to stand closer to my razor.

Full skinhead takes too long to get every bit with a blade if you have a bumpy head (which I do) so you need you need another option for those that don't give a [Poor language removed] or have given up on trying to look good altogether

Cheap clippers, No1 attachment, spend no more than 2mins a time .. that'll do! (No sleeve tattoo either)

Skull Shaver & beast clippers for when you cba & its too long for just the shaver when you get round to being arsed. I had a swede like Tom Davies but as soon as it was going it was a full Lee Carsley, Those clippers could trim an afghan hound btw.
