My kids aren’t bothered now luckily but we still have a bowl of sweets for those that do knock. Been in all night and only one group of 3 kids knocked about half an hour ago. I gave them the lot, turned the front lights off and came upstairs.

Successfully ignored each and every knock.
Even ignored my own knocking when they got back.
Had my mate drop me a treat off but made him phone me when he was outside because I was ignoring the knocks.

Bought a refurbished ring doorbell. Went the pub with the dog. Left some sweets in a bowl on the doorstep.

When the kids couldn’t find the sweets my scouse accent came over the ring doorbell and scare these jock kids more than a Jimmy saville impersonator could have.
