Not sure about that. Klose doesn't have that many miles on him. Podolski and Klose look like prem players stuck in the Bundesliga. Especially Podolski, who the way he runs reminds me a bit of Landon.

Sucks that Muller is out with a crap card. Not sure they could beat spain without him. Lucky Ballack is out, he'd have slowed this team down tremendously. He's kind of proven with Chelsea that he's getting long in the tooth as well.

You know what I think this is true. Think Muller and Ozil would get minute on the england side with Lamps and Gerrard? Plus Low wouldn't hesitate to put in a young player like Johnson on the right. England on the other hand would have started Becks if he was healthy. None of your players under 23 have even gotten a sniff in the England shirt. They just get thrown in there and if they don't play well (understandable given that they are supposed to defer to the great vets you have) they are banished forever despite the fact that many of the vets fail and fail again while never losing their place.
