One of my earliest memories was in DC somewhere in The Mall in 1976...the Bicentennial. A large word for a 5 year old to understand. I knew it was a big deal even if I was a child.

The firework were amazing. The sky was on fire in the most beautiful way.

Funny how I am reminded of that moment
