Click on your name in the blue banner across the top. Then go to account details 3rd one down under your picture. Next you will see Account details in a blue banner. Under that click on your profile which will bring up all your latest activity. On the blue banner next to postings it days about. Click on that and you hould be able to add your birthday.
There might be an easier way but that's how I did mine!
