It was not just the defeat it was the manner of the way we performed- very depressing- hope your birthday was not completely ruined by that, onwards & upwards one can hope.?...

Aside from bowing out of the cup, it’s more concerning because it’s against relegation rivals and this will affect confidence of players (and supporters) going into that all important run in….
It’s a cliche I know but the only positive I can take is at least it was the cup and at the moment our priority has to be staying in the premier league!! (I know I’m clutching at straws.)
