You are all very kind and much appreciated.

Our sons will come to see us this coming weekend to celebrate. As for today, as the Astros and Toffees do not play I shall engage in other noble pursuits: spinning records and drinking with my bird!
 

Thanks folks.

Spent my birthday in my first on call shift in a more senior role in a hospital.

Thankfully nothing too traumatic. Time to relax now.

Here's to many more, and more frivolous optimism as Everton slowly consumes our joy again.
