Dixon should be playing at some point regardless for me, even as a sub. We should be giving him a little run of appearances now.

A wonderful prospect who’s come right under the radar without any fuss or speculation that someone’s going to nab him from us. Back to reality though, still only 17, one year of full time training under his belt , let’s not push his stamina too far. He got 70 mins mid week for the u21s and was very good , then yesterday’s cameo, so it’s been quite a week . The same again against Doncaster and maybe a longer cameo on Saturday would be fine .

Start him, Dixon, O’Brien against Doncaster. If they play well they should be starting next weekend.

It just needs some brave decision making from Dyche….supporters could get behind that to an extent even if the result doesn’t go our way. Just none of the cowardly ‘PL seasons Pro’s’ selections
