2024/25 Harrison Armstrong

I mean with hindsight yes. But Im not sure he became that player with us. It could have been better, but 50m nearly all up front with a sell on % was a good deal.

As people know I was a huge fan of Gordon as a player, but he wasn't a Rooney. I don't think he was as good as Barley for us, or Brainthwaite. I think the club did well with that one.

I don’t think it’s hindsight mate, there were many on here who highlighted his potential.

It can’t be anything else but a poor deal, he appreciated significantly within the first 12 months of brung here, while also significantly contributing to success in a very short space of time. It was a poor value deal for Everton in and off the pitch.

My point has been that Everton’s issue isn’t producing young talent in managing it developmentally to the benefit if the club - as you say yourself “he doesn’t become that player with us” - that’s it that’s my point - why not? Q.E.D.

Hoping I can get a ticket for Hull City v Derby tomorrow. A must win game for both (or at least don't lose) which I'm assuming I'll get to see Harrison in action.

….huge game, but I suppose they’re all huge games at the moment. I’ll be following it closely, hope you manage to get in.

I tuned into their forum last week after the unexpected win at West Brom and they’re buzzing. General feeling is they need 4 points from their last 2 games.

Because we would have gone under Neil.

Gutted that our usual supply could only get the one ticket which my lad has bagged for himself. I've asked for regular updates. One things for sure Derby won't be short of a following. They're already giving Humbersides finest the run around in city center.

….my sons father-in-law was once part of the first team set up at Hull, so went to a few games in their PL days. On the first occasion they went past a phone box where a bloke was having a sh1t, ‘welcome to Hull’ his father-in-law said. I was in the Directors Box myself for the 2-2 game, I think Barkley scored, DCL missed a sitter and Harry Maguire got MoM.

I remember the defeat there that was the beginning of the end of Martinez

I was at that game as well. Wasn't me having a Turkish delight though in the phone box. I was a guest that day downstairs and got away just as the players were coming out to leave. I saw Maguire and asked was there truth in the rumours we were going to bid for him and Andy Robertson. He smiled and said we couldn't afford them.
