Harry Kane

So you're clearly in the pro Kane corner. I don't root against him generally, but he seems so flukish to me.

Footballers come and go as good players. Currently, he's in form, and he's a good player. Long term, well you can only judge that at the end of a career.

Still looking good! boss hatrick yestarday, lets see if he can do it for England!

He's a very good player. I think just because his name is Harry Kane and not Kaninho that people underestimate him.

I don't think he'll ever have as good a season as this again, but I think he's a 15 goal plus a season striker, as he has something you can't really teach - instinctive movement. He doesn't have weaknesses either, like you can point to Rom and say he does things well one game then not the next; with Kane, he seems to be at the very least average at every aspect you want from a striker.

In my opinion, the fact he doesn't really excel in any one area like Lukaku does means he won't ever be top drawer, but he's a very good player.

Very good player who has a knack of being in the right place at the right time. Seems a good lad too, so I'm happy he got the England call up. Need less melts in the national team. Terry, Cole, Ferdinand, Gerrard etc out, nice blokes in who I find it easier to cheer on by virtue of them not being massive tools.

Some real jealous people on here it seems.
Isn't it the precedent that he's an English striker therefore he must be overrated? People should give the lad some slack as he's played well.

If he was an Everton player then people on here would be heralding him as the saviour of football; the second coming of Christ or what not.

To be fair, it is far too early to judge whether it is a mere purple patch or not. However this season he has unquestionably been very good.

He may not be the most skilful individual, although what he lacks in flair he certainly makes up for in strength, determination and positioning.

I doubt he'll ever be a world beater, but if he keeps working as he has then he has the capability to be at least a 'good' Premier League striker.

Personally, I would like our apparent starlet Ross to show some of the above attributes, as right now Harry looks the more reliable prospect.

I agree, I'd also add that if he was one of ours he'd be getting valued at £80m+ but then any game he didn't score in he'd he getting called 5h1t and booed.
