Of course he's been figured out. All strikers who burst onto the scene encounter that problem.

What will define him as a player is how he bounces back from that. He's 22 and has only played one full season in the Prem. I wouldn't be writing him off this season, even if he doesn't score a single Prem goal. It's a bit like writing us off after a crap season last year.

If he can adapt his game and overcome the tighter marking, he'll be a top player. If not then he may well be viewed as a one season wonder. But why people have to be so quick to either brand a player a one season wonder or the best player in the history of football, I don't know. Just have some patience.
He's crap mate he's no Rodriguez COYB

I'm surprised actually, he has had plenty of chances to score.

Just can't seem to put one in the back of the net.

Hate seeing this happen to strikers. Must be hard on them as a person. :(

While you are on, could you tell me why Spurs fans were booing John & Seamus last match ?

Probably because, rightly or wrongly, they were showing their disapproval of him wanting to join Chelsea (Stones that is).

I thought it was only Woolwich that called all their players by their first names!

slow start for him but too early to call it second seson syndrome. but this has potential to become the best example of that particular concept.

He has an annoying face

He just looks so...so...English.

Actually as much as I've been hard on him, I will admit that he can finish, but it's his movement and timing that are his strengths.

He's like a young Naismith with actual talent. I'm starting to see that maybe he's not just a lucky, massive purple patch player.

Don't tell anyone I said nice things about him.
