Harry Kane

Nothing against Kane or his run of form, but this latest goal was pretty lucky. Defender slips and the shot placement was poor.

Still glad he slotted it.

He's scored about 22 this season already though, not many of them were lucky to be fair. I think the lad is going to be a top player

I'd have to compare tonight's goal with Rodriguez goal for Colombia against Uruguay at the world cup...

Amazing/unbelievable form. I always thought he was absolute garbage from the moment I saw him stink the an England U20 tournament out a couple of years ago.

I'll put my neck on the line and say this will be as good as it gets for him. Seen plenty of strikers go through these patches only to find their true level.

As others have said grim strikers have had purple patches before, not usually in their debut season though, some of his link up play lets him down now and again, but he looks decent right now, weird face though

Face and hair wise he looks like a city trader. Good player though. Good movement off the ball.

Right now, it seems as if he's for real. While I don't expect him to keep this form up at this pace, he has the chance to be the real deal for both Spurs and England.

Can't quite get a read on this guy. He's obviously in the form of his life now, will that last? Who's to say.. I've never really liked strikers without pace though, and he doesn't seem fast to me. He moves well but I guess we'll find out next season. I think Ferguson would've been all over him though

Looks a good prospect, he's really come on in the last 12 months. The u20 competition that Barkley captained a few summers back he looked a bit of a carthorse but he's obviously got his head down and worked hard for his chance, if he doesn't make the next squad over the likes of Lambert it's a disgrace really.

Nice Barkley assist for Kane.

Has the same scoring record as Charlie Austin in the league this season and is only marginally better than Ings, if he can keep it up for a few seasons then he has potential to be up there with Englands best strikers, but as it stands people are getting very carried away with him. Doesn't have the build of Aguero and Suarez etc but seems to have a good footballing brain and is clever in his movement, if defenders can figure him out then it will be interesting to see if his maintains the level of effectiveness of Aguero etc

Harry Kane has the same amount of goals as Austin but Austin has just under 500 more minutes (470) so over 5 games worth. Inge has 4 goals less and +300 minutes on Kane
