I once watched all the movies with the kids while I was laid up with a bad back. They were fine.

I've never read it or seen the films. It's for kids and good luck to them.

Started reading them as a kid but gave up as they're really naff. The films weren't much better. Basically it's the story of kids going to a private boarding school written by someone that doesn't have a clue about fantasy storytelling.
