It's a different person. Like James Bond, they just change actors every now and then to freshen things up.
We're currently experiencing the latter end of the Pierce Brosnan era which had the noticeable decline in ideas and quality but on the upside, the reboot Daniel Craig version should be good, if not a bit more violent and visceral.
