Every summer. It's become Everton tradition.

It must have crashed on me about 10 times today. Only saw about 10 minutes or so. Wasted afternoon.

Seriously. Anyone sorting that out, should get a "Match Stream" trophy

What gets me is they don't even advertise club sponsors on it. It's so amateurish. Like a jolly boys outing for the commentators.

I want Everton winning stuff. The way its ran at the moment off the pitch, not sure we'll ever see it happen 😢

So, on the thread topic. I'd like Everton to sort out the match streams and for Everton to win stuff. That would feel like I was winning something.

It's a piss take.

But you'd have to pay me to watch them during pre-season.

Oh, I forgot. I won best bed maker on Summer camp in Wales - Towyn- - one morning in 1955.
Something else I forgot. I played in a social golf club from 1976 to 2009 and won quite a few trophies over the years, but I had two holes in one while not playing with them.
For any of you familiar with Melbourne the first was the 1st hole at Royal Park in 1887 and the second was at Woodend in 1992.

Unfortunately I didn't see either of them actually go into the hole

The shot at RP dropped short of the green a d rolled up to the hole but I turned away and put the club in my bag.

The one at Woodend was to an elevated green.

My social club arranged a trophy for me for the first one so I did actually win something.

The Chilli Festival Competition, they actually ran out of the Hottest Chilli. As for the prize, I ended up giving it away In the pub afterwards I was so dead...

Yes , most seasons in the local table tennis league.

As I get older and what little talent I had diminishes I simply select better players as team mates to give myself a chance of winning.

Everton should try it sometime, it's fun.

The missus won us a 4 night stay in Jersey with flights & spending money from a women's magazine competition. Decent hotel by the looks of it too. Got it all booked up for early summer the next year as it had to be taken within 12 months of the win.
A few months later covid happened. Jersey didn't reopen for tourists until a few days after our scheduled dates & the magazine wouldn't rebook our holiday so we lost our prize except for the £200 spending money which was sent after the initial booking.
That's a swizz

Oooh. Thought i'd respond.

I've won one or two things nothing at all big. Won a pen set in school and in another school raffle won a bottle of whisky (not for me I might add :D my dad got that).

95 was a good one I won the national (yeah I was the jockey ) Royal Athlete. Backed us to win the cup the night before the Bristol game. I also won the sweep in work for the time of the goal in the cup final. Although it was initially objected by a work colleague who questioned the time but I the time winning time.

….£400 yesterday on the Premium Bonds, £320 in July & £1,200 in June..

Loads of footy stuff, but anybody else on here got an Echo Cup winners medal? If you went to St Thomas Becket it was me who scored 7 against you in one of the early rounds and I still have a scar on my shin from that game.

….and it’s £400 again today on the Premium Bonds.

In the late 80s when I was about 12 years old I went to a summer fair and won a massive jar of sweets by guessing how many sweets were in the jar. It was about 1,500 sweets and my guess was only 1 out. It took me months to eat them all.

In the late 90s I won £5k in a magazine competition and used the money to buy Freeserve shares which I sold within a few months for about £20k which at the time was more than my annual salary and paid off half the mortgage on my first house.

I still think winning the sweets made me happier.
