Head going bald.. shave it off or not?

A cat could lick that off in a matter of minutes, mate. But in all seriousness, you'll look better -- and younger -- for it. Did mine more than 35 years ago and have never regretted it. The key is to have the right shape of skull so you don't look like an ET or Frankenstein's monster.

I think the time may have come.. there now appears to be more skin visible than hair.. I've always said that when the ratio sways in that direction I'd just shave the whole lot off. Now that it has I'm not sure. Here's my dome now.

Do whatever you feel happiest or most comfortable with mate. There’s no obligation to go skinhead if you don’t want to. Probably enough there for a decent hairdresser to do something with if you’d prefer to grow it

Went to Southport Soul Weekender for 1 night many moons ago and a load of us ended up kipping in a room that someone had for the full weekend…. One of the blokes had used that on his nugget and the absolute state of the pillow case the next day…..looked like it had been down a coal mine.
Suffice to say he soon elected to get the bic on it.

It's terrible stuff. I remember seeing some bloke, at the bar in a club, with jet-black plastic-looking hair, he had dark streaks running down his sweaty forehead that he kept wiping away with a hanky; people were looking and openly laughing at the poor sod. Taking the BIC route is the way to go

fella in our work used to always name and shame people who where trying to cover up thinning or receding hair , everyone i see now i check out there hairline can’t break the habit

So if his skull is an odd shape he will need to undergo extensive reconstructive surgery in order to flaunt an acceptable looking dome.

Actually, my mate's son's skull is shaped like an egg. It looks like the back of his head is pregnant.
