I just hope we get a decent fee for him, and that he does go. Don't want him here anymore, new blood needed. Ajax pay very low wages so doubt he'd go there. That Siem De Jong is barely on £15k according to FM.

The reason I'm vague'ish is When i conversation i asked if it was £50k and told no 'a bit more' in the world of footy anything could be 'a bit more' but I'm pretty sure in the past I was told around and about £60,000. I don't like guessing on stuff so thats why I've put it like that.

Either way for what we get out of him on the picth compared to what we pay him we might as well let him go now while we can geta decent fee for him.

Funny one John, when on form and playing regularly he's been awesome. But most of the time he's never been as good as he should have been.

No that is accurate, they pay low because they bring their players up from their youth system. It's known as the "Ajax business model" by a few, it's quite a big thing on the continent, they occasionally bring big money players in but rarely

Up until this season I would have said he was mostly worth it, but I always thought it was a tad high. Based on this seasons performances though we could do with shipping him out whilst he's still worth a bit of money, if we wait until the summer he'll be in the final 12 months of his contract and obviously worth slightly less.

When we tried to stick him in the boot of yobo's car to get him to fene he wasn't massively keen (until they went a bit mad on wages & he was a bit more interested) so it won't be easy especially on those wages. A lot of agents worked hard to find a club and struggled a bit to be Honest given the size of the whole financial package (wages & fee) .

I heard he was on same as Arteta when he was here ? Would be more than £60k if that was the case.
