Welcome mate do a bit of biz in the W mids and regularly use Hopton services on the M42 for a really good shte.
 
Born and bred in the Midlands but a blue blooded Evertonian thanks to Alan Ball and his white boots, have 4 kids 3 of which have been season ticket holders along with myself...have 3 grandkids so they're next in line for the Blue brainwashing (my 30 year old daughter still wont wear red!!)I might have the same accent as Steve Bull but I've followed our great club all over the country and I'm looking forward to talking to fellow blues from all over the world.

The Black Country as an expression dates from the 1840s and it is believed that it got its name because of black soot from heavy industries that covered the area

That is disputed. Some suggest it is more too do with the colour of the topsoil in the region relating to shallow thick coal seams...
