Yes, Alaska is fantastic. Expensive to live here, but I get to fly around mountains and glaciers on float planes, and get paid for it. I have black bears and deer in my garden on a regular basis too!

Personally, I'd be surprised if they sprung for a DoF because of the added salary. We also don't need one, IMO.
