Welcome to GOT. Excellent answer on pop. Explains why a fair few of our members like it. Makes me wonder why I don't like it though.

Koff you, yer pineapple munching oddity. Is right!
Welcome to the emotional rollercoaster that following Everton involves mate.
New-ish Blue living in Champaign, IL, USA. Originally from Kentucky. Good bourbon and horses. If there are others in the C-U area, feel free to reach out. I'm hoping I'm not the only Blue in town!
Found the forum through Twitter, trying to find a place to read and discuss the club.
I think the quip about always being an Evertonian and taking some time to realize it is true. Watched Premier League for a few years but never followed a team until the recent World Cup. Intrigued by Tim Howard's play, I read up on Everton's history and realized EFC and I share similar values. I like seeing young talent developed from within when possible, rather than throwing money around like a few other clubs. NSNO. The team's history and relationship with its fans. It all spoke to me. Plus, growing up in Kentucky, I prefer blue over red.
Favorite player is probably Lukaku. He's playing with heart right now.
Pineapple on pizza: If you are a child, yes. If you are an adult of sound mind, pineapple is unacceptable.

Like my sex life.At the moment, our rollercoaster seems to be on a prolonged droop with some alarming noises coming from the back.
Champaign, IL... do you listen to Braid?
Not much lately, but they did a reunion show here a few years ago. American Football is/was also from C-U and have been playing again. Hum (which is more in my wheelhouse) also plays small shows around town.
Polyvinyl Records is here, so we get some good acts to come through. Japandroids and the Rentals are personal favorites on their label.
