Hello from Cornwall

Was heavily involved in amateur boxing though and had lots of navy lads from devonport
Welcome @Scaley ;) Evertonians are world wide, so Cornwall is no distance.
Sounds like Everton is very much in your DNA.
ny DNA is full of Everton, through thick and thin, followed them all of my 80 years, birthday today !!! They’ve put us all through the mill but we love them and stick with them. 😜

Happy Birthday mate ;) You are 10 years ahead of me.

P.S. I wouldn't go broadcasting that particular bolded fact

Hiya. We’re in Newquay now but spent the first 36 years in St Agnes, daughter lives in Camborne. Us northerners get about !!

Welcome mate.

We’ve been going to North Cornwall for years on our family hols and I’d move there tomorrow, but the missus is too much of a city girl.

Newquay seems to be on the up from what it once was and seems to be losing the drinking and party destination it was once had.

I absolutely love living here, it wasn’t easy at first but although I like visiting family ‘up north ‘ I’m always happy to come back here. Newquay now is so very different from the old party days, much more of a family orientation area, affluent too. It isn’t for everyone but certainty is for me.

Hi I’ve just joined your forum after being an Evertonian for nearly 65 years, now very old. My parents, grand parents etc were huge Everton fans living in Eton Street and Wilburn Street when they were young. We moved down to Cornwall 41 years ago, for personal reasons, although we live it here we certainly miss being able to go to games but are avidly listeners every week to Everton radio. Will now be reading all the posts on here from now on.

Welcome .
